 Dmandre aka Don Andre: Author, Poet and member of Soul Asylum Poetry

Don Andre is a fifth grade teacher and lives in Aurora, IL with his wife Mary and their two dogs Chloe and Madison.

Don has been writing since he was a kid, and he says that his friend Judy helped him to cultivate a passion for poetry in the fall of 64. Don says he can remember being so enamored with her, and her poetry and he found comfort in hearing her read, and then writing his own. Don says his wife always knew that he had more than enough passion and talent to write poetry and get published.
