Eck & Lady Kami

   Lady Kami Profile:  I started writing poems,songs and stories when I was 8 years old and have wrote ever since. It is my way to express all I feel inside and be creative in my writings. I have always been an artist for as long as I can remember. My mother was a painter and a writer and she passed all these things down to me. It was always our ways of passing time and sharing with each other what we wrote or created rather then sitting in front of a t.v. I was always taught to use my own imagination and I am grateful for this because these things in my life has made me who I am today. I believe there is much beauty in this world in artistic forms that only if we open our eyes to see, hear or read, we can all find beauty in anything. I believe in the freedom that art gives us to be creative using our imagery with no limits or boundaries put on our artistic side. Art is the freedom to express. Poetry is an art of words just as a painting is a picture art form and music is art of sound and words.

   Art in its self is an emotion that brings all the senses together creating something unique and wonderful! I was born and raised in Washington State but now reside in Columbus, Indiana. I am down to earth and simple hearted and have a childlike mind exploring life and all its wonders and am always amazed with all I encounter in life and all that life has to offer. I have learned that it is the simple things in life that truly mean the most to me and have the most value. I love the ocean and mountains and find these two places very inspirational and have spent much time at both places.

  Eck Profile:    I started writing in March of 2006 after my divorce as it was a troublesome time for me. I learned to let myself go in my poems and just be me regardless of what others thought of my words. I am one to say what's on my mind and have an opinion about any and everything-LOL I find humor in most all things and love to make people laugh and smile. Of coarse being lonely I began looking for friends and found my poems helped me to make new friends. It was writing poems that led me to meet my Lady Kami on a poet site, I find writing poems fun and challenging and is now a daily part of my life.

      I love writing controversial poems that makes one think about what is going on in our world today. I guess one could say I often see things different then most and it is that side of me I express in my words I pen. If things get boring I stir the pot-LOL I was born and raised in Indiana where I reside now with my future wife Lady Kami.
