George Anne Smith aka.. Beticantoo George Anne Smith resides in Oregon where she shares her home with feline companions Tai Tai, Kali, and Tara. She is retired from the U.S. Postal Service and now enjoys the freedom to write full time. George Anne is also a contributor to several ecological, humanitarian, and animal rights organizations in her quest to help heal the planet. In 2005, her first book of poetry, A Voice in the Night, was released. In June 2006 her second book, Window Sill Wisdom: Life in Balance, was released. George Anne also writes short stories, essays, and is in the outline stage of a inspirational/self-help book about dieting and weight loss. Her work has appeared in various print and online publications, including "The Poetic Hours," "Sacred Journeys," "True Poets Magazine," and an anthology of poetry: The Beauty Within, (2006) ISBN# 0-9780087-2-3.
