Howard Simms
Poet

Howard Simms was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Howard says that his mother always knew that he was blessed with certain gifts, but that he always hid them from the world.
Howard had been writing scripts at the age of 13, and in 2003 a common bond was discovered between his cousin Raymond Anderson author of “Alone In A Crowd” and Howard, the common bond, the love of poetry.
"I feel that it is time to let the world see a different side of me. I have so much inside that I must express. My pen has become the key that has opened the untold."
We are extremely happy to have Howard here at the Soul as well as new poets,Denise DaCosta, and Warren Anthony Brown, as well as dear fellow poet Raymond Anderson. These four incredible poets have combined to bring us their new anthology, "The Compass" currently being formatted for a late spring release! Let their compass be your guide...
