Joan Bray Author, Poet for Soul Asylum Poetry
Joan writes under the penname of Rebel Jo, and is from Tennessee. A wife, Mother and Grandmother, Joan is definitely a family person. Besides her family and her love for writing, Joan Loves Reading, King Clancy, Jakes and Morgans and Kellar.When Joan is not at her computer writing either poetry, soap operas or prose she is crocheting afghans.
Joan is a democrat who has attended the Church of Christ for over 55 years and she says that she is an old fashioned Country Girl, like Popeye says " I am what I am and that’s all that I am." Joan has had several poems published in anthologies and has been an active member of Soul Asylum Poetry for some time now. We are so glad to have Joan with us here.
