Poet,
Texasgal: aka Cari Nelson, a loving mother of two and grandmother of three resides in the Red River Valley of Northern Texas. Cari writes under the penname Texasgal and has been seriously writing poetry, since her beloved daughter Tami passed away in the year of 2000. Cari was born in Hawaii attending grade school in Honolulu. At age 11 she moved to Los Angeles County, California where she graduated from high school and attended college. She lived there with her son until 1987 moving to Northern Texas where she now resides.
Cari's past times that she loves are - knitting, needlepoint, puzzles, old sci-fi movies and reading mysteries. She loves people and feels most blessed with the many friends she has acquired throughout her life. She believes life is a gift, being open-hearted to what the coming day has to offer never knowing when or where it will end, living for the smile and for what the day may bring........
