Robert Hewett has been writing poetry and short stories for his family and himself since his teen years, but is just now publishing his collection of works. He has six children and 15 grandchildren. Most of his poetry tells a story, a gift from his father who was a master story teller.

In his own words:
“Children understand a lot more than adults give them credit for knowing. These poems and stories are meant to be a learning experience for children through interaction with people, birds and animals. If some moral guidance can also be recognized from the events described herein, it pleases my heart.”
