Embee Lives in a small Village in Norway just north of the capitol; a single mom with one son who started writing songs at the age of 15 – because she got her heart broken she says.

She had decided to become a painter but shortly after her boyfriend who was a musician, found her tapes, gave them to

a local rockstar Ronnie Le Tekro and bam! A record deal. Embee Normanns Wonderland (1993, also released

in Japan) and Full of Light (2000). Embee says her guitar

along with pen, paper and pencils are her best friends,

and she loves to collect rocks. She says she has smuggled some of her polished friends out of the Petrified Forest, and the

Grand Canyon. She has worked many jobs including

freelance journalist, secretary and the last years as a teacher which she loves doing. Along with writing and music Embee

also loves painting and drawing and has done some work for her local newspaper. Her favorite painter is

John William Waterhouse, and this painting below is one of his.
